BMS Project Outline: Butler Manufacturing Services Ltd. (BMS) were appointed by Roadbridge to provide a temporary/portable sewage treatment for all their construction workers and the site offices during the construction phase of the Center Parcs Longford Forest Project. The project was the biggest single investment in Irish Tourism (€233 m) with Roadbridge appointed as the Main Civil Engineering Contractor.

BMS Design Details: As part of the development of the Beaufort Wave & Energy Centre by University College Cork (UCC) a temporary above ground package Wastewater Treatment Plant was required to treat the sewage generated by staff/users ofthe Beaufort facility for approximately a three year period until the new local authority sewage treatment plant was completed. The effluent was being pumped up stream to a pump sump in an adjoining property before being pumped onto the local authority sewer. A very strict outlet effluent standard was required from the Blivet.
