Two BMS BL4000 Blivet package sewage treatment plants left the BMS factory in Longford, Ireland for shipment to the Caribbean Island of Guadelope during the week.
Many people may not be familiar with the island, but it is a French Territory and part of the EU. It is a very popular tourist destination, especially from France. Due to the high humidity on the island, the Blivet was supplied with options such as stainless steel motor plates and locks. This is not the first BMS Blivet to be located in Guadelope. Indeed, a large amount of the sewage generated on the island is treated by the BMS Blivet. BMS Managing Director; Seamus Butler commented “The Blivet keeps going from strength to strength. It offers many advantages over other systems, such as its ISO 9001:2008 quality, its ability to be shipped in a 40 foot container and its half day commissioning. One of the things they particularly like about the Blivet in Guadeloupe is the easy maintenance, which only takes less than 1 unskilled man hour per week”.
