Butler Manufacturing Services Ltd (BMS) is delighted to announce that we have commenced works on the upgrade of two wastewater treatment plants (WWTP) on behalf of Kildare County Council.
The WWTP plants are located in the historic village of Ardclough and also Clonuff, Co. Kildare. The works involve installation of new BMS ‘all in one’ Blivet Package Sewage Treatment plants, along with new control panels fitted with GSM Dialouts and related electrical/civil works. Ardclough WWTP also involves the removal of a spent peat bed treatment system, the safe disposal of the peat and its replacement with a constructed wetland, within the constraints of the existing site tankage. This follows on from the successful installation of two Blivets at Donore and Ballyroe last year. All plants highlight the ease of installation of the BMS Blivet, its low power, spare parts and maintenance requirement and BMS ability to work with local authorities within specifications and to deadlines. Furthermore, it highlights Kildare County Council ongoing committment to treat wastewater produced in the county to the highest standards.
